murky will have four baristas in the throwdown (Marianne, Allie, Anne, and Randy). Come cheer em on! Anyone can come to watch the competition free of charge. It is happening right next to the entrance to the Coffeefest trade show floor. The trade show itself is for trade only and requires paid admission... so if you've ever thought of opening a coffeeshop (or could fathom such a thought)... I guess you'd be trade! ;-)

Good luck Murky baristas! Do we have to pay to attend Coffeefest to watch the competition?

The Coffeefest rules and regulations clearly states that this is not open to the general public. Are the competitions an exception to that?

So, the final is at 5:30 - 7:30 pm - is there any espresso for spectators or is it just a watch event?
I dont want to weather the trek into DC just to drool over lattes I cant have.
Any benefit to the spectators?
Shame the trade show isnt more open.
