A Love Poem in Six Verses by ryan c jensen

Roses are pink
Sometimes or white
I know this girl
She makes me feel all right

She smiles and laughs
My heart just sings
These are a few of
My favorite things

Her hair and face
To her little toenails
Make my hands shake
And heartbeat fail

All that she does
Buckles my knees
She is more beautiful
Than oceans or trees

I wish I could see her
Every hour of the day
But sometimes real life
Makes me dismayed

I hate to speak of
Beginnings and ends
But when all is done
I guess we have to be friends

COFFEEFEST DC... ON NOW

Welcome to all who are coming to visit during this weekend's CoffeeFest DC trade show. Just an FYI... we're in SOUTHEAST DC, just SOUTHEAST of the U.S. Capitol. The Convention Center is in Northwest. There are four quadrants to D.C., and we're in the SOUTHEAST area, right on the Orange Line Metro (Eastern Market Station). Cool?

In case you haven't noticed, the speed our free Wi-Fi has been doubled. 3.0 mbps (up from 1.5 mbps) downstream, 768 kbps (up from 384 kbps) upstream.

More bandwidth to help all of our customers procrastinate and waste time away from "real work."

All that we ask in return is your continued patronage, and some props." If you're writing a book, your acknowledgements page has more than enough room for two more little words: "Murky Coffee." You get the idea. It's all about legacy. Legacy... and as I said before, procrastination.

Oh yeah, and about coffee too. Legacy, procrastination, and coffee. That's what makes the world go 'round.

I don't know why, but this new phone of ours makes my day. BellSouth and all the other baby-Bells are retiring their payphones, so we snapped one up that was refurbished for "residential line" use.

Don't ask to use it though... it's for Murkys only.

FYI... the part-time job has been filled. Help us welcome our new weekend person, Casey. She's from Connecticut, and will be attending med school in the fall. Hopefully, if we ever get this website finished, you'll be able to learn more about her, and the other "Murkys" at the "our staff" link at the left side of this page.

Hopefully.
