We need your help!!!

We are on the ballot for WashingtonPost.com's Best Bets 2004 "Best Coffee Shop!" We need your help to beat the "big boys!"

FYI, wp.com requires you to register with a valid e-mail address before voting, but I know for a fact that they have NEVER sent spam to those addresses.

So VOTE! E-mail your friends and ask them to VOTE! We are the only independent D.C. coffee shop nominated outside of Northwest... so help REPRESENT for Capitol Hill! This is, after all, an election year... and it's gonna be a tough one for which ever candidate you support. Think of it as a practice round! Campaign for us, and see what "grassroots" is all about!!!

Voting is open right now... and closes August 3rd.

VOTE!!!

Come one, come all to D.C. Coffee Geekfest 2004.

We're hosting a little get-together for espresso geeks on Sunday, June 27, 2004, at 7:00pm. Try some different espresso blends, play around on a "legendary" La Marzocco Linea espresso machine, and expect to fall asleep at about 5:00am on Monday morning from all the caffeine buzz.

Check out the thread on CoffeeGeek, and please pre-register by leaving a comment below. This is just to get a general headcount.

Great article about Starbucks from a Portland weekly newspaper.

For the record, I have always maintained these points when it comes to Starbucks.
